What to Bring to Your Immigrant Visa Interview Appointment at the US Embassy Jerusalem
- Your interview letter from National Visa Center (NVC)
- Your passport (unexpired, and valid for six months beyond your date of intended entry to U.S.)
- Two (2) color passport-size photographs of each person applying for a visa (5 cm x 5 cm, or 2 inch x 2 inch)
- DS-260 Confirmation Page
- Original and copy of civil documents, including your birth certificate, and if applicable, your marriage certificate (if applicable), divorce decress, and death certificates.
- Medical examination results in sealed envelope
- Original and certified copies of birth certificates for all children of main applicant, even if the child is not immigrating to U.S.
- Original police certificates
- Original and copy of criminal and court records, if you have been arrested
- Original and copy of military records
- I-864 Affidavit of Support and supporting documents (if your application is based on family relationship)
- Proof of U.S. Petitioner’s legal status and domicile in the United States (if your application is based on family relationship)
- Proof of the petitioner’s Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status in the United States, if the petitioner is not a U.S. passport holder. Documents to demonstrate LPR status may include a copy of an LPR card and evidence of the petitioner’s last stay in the United States
