  • Original and certified copies of birth certificates for all children of main applicant, even if the child is not immigrating to U.S.
  • I-864 Affidavit of Support and supporting documents (if your application is based on family relationship)
  • Proof of U.S. Petitioner’s legal status and domicile in the United States (if your application is based on family relationship)
  • Certificate, or lawful permanent resident card. If you have an Affidavit of Support joint sponsor, you must submit proof of their domicile as well
  • Evidence of relationship between petitioner and visa applicant (if your application is based on family relationship)

  • If you were previously married: Your original divorce or spouse’s death certificate, English translation, and a photocopy.
  • An original police certificate from every country of previous residence of 12 months or more from the applicant’s 16th birthday
  • An original Police Certificate issued by The Directorate of Criminal Information “Modeeriat Aladellah Aljinaeyah” in Baghdad
  • Letter from your U.S. employer dated less than one month ago.
  • Original and copy of military records
  • Original and copy of criminal and court records, if you have been arrested
