What to Bring to Your Immigrant Visa Interview Appointment at the US Embassy Guangzhou
- Your interview letter from National Visa Center (NVC)
- Your passport (unexpired, and valid for six months beyond your date of intended entry to U.S.)
- Two (2) color passport-size photographs of each person applying for a visa
- DS-260 Confirmation Page
- A printout of your online appointment registration confirmation
- Applicants born in Mainland China: a certified copy of the birth certificate issued by a local notary public office stating date, place of birth, names of both parents
- Third-Country Nationals: Provide an original birth certificate, one photocopy, and a certified English translation
- Original and copy of adoption documents
- All applicants who have ever used another name or alias on legal documentation or for any other official purpose must provide a certified alias certificate
- Original police certificates
- If you reside outside the country, please also provide a police certificate issued within the last 12 months (with a certified English translation) from that country.
- Original and copy of criminal and court records, if you have been arrested
- Evidence of relationship between petitioner and visa applicant (if your application is based on family relationship)
